I’ve spent my pay check this week!
On that new gadget… the a1- Gleek!
It’s the trendiest new trend!
and I have many a trendy new friend!
I can touch this and show them that!
and I’ll be on all of the trendy people’s welcome mats!
For they look cool and that’s where I want to be!
Only the coolest places for me!
I hope they don’t realize I’m broke!
Why are the rich one’s suddenly treating me like a joke!
I’d do anything to fit in…
including the darkest of sin!
I’m shiny and they know it…
my desperation clearly shows it!
Although I must now do what they say…
to get to tag along and play.
I am cool… that is what I want everyone to say!
Wait…who is that fool over there I see
wait …its a mirror…Oh my god!
It’s…me.

Absolutely…Narcissus! (he must have had an amazing family tree) people here take such things to such extremes, especially technology . It has become so much more than usefulness…it is now to the point where they want it just to look cooler than everyone else…Its just crazy.
Oh…and that mirror thing…Yeah I can’t help but look at one every time I walk by. If ever I was to be delayed or side tracked it would definitely be due to passing a mirror! LOL! have a great day!

Loved this 2zpoint. Who doesn’t want to fit in and be cool–but we have to weigh what can be lost to just be one of the “cool”–it’s not worth compromising our beautiful selves just the way we are. With or without the latest gadget!

Ain’t that the truth…but I seen this guy and I couldn’t help myself. I had to remark some way. This it not right but it is a typical madness that happens regularly. These people will go to the extremes to buy this crap…including but not limited to camping out in front of a store for it!
I wont even wait longer than 15 minutes for a hair cut…let alone waste 15 hours on crap to look trendy! And then they’ll spend every dime the have for it! you’d think I was talking about crack the way these people act. I wish that I had something to sell these suc…(er)…good customers!
I’m always shocked too when the news shows people camping out overnight and sleeping in front of stores just so they can be the first ones to own the latest “whatever”!
I don’t get it…
Me neither! I don’t see the sense in it! I have never waited in a line more than one hour…that was due to being a government issue. I relate lines to being a type of purgatory. The only thing that is different is that a line is burning up precious time from my life…which seems a little worse to me.
