Good Enough
Through out my life I have been told that I was not good enough
“You simply don’t have what it takes”…and If I didn’t like it? TOUGH
When I look around me all I see are things that are really not good enough
because someone always has a faster car, a better house, a better body, a more perfect soul ….ENOUGH!
I am what I am and I will do what I can and anyone who can not except that I am a diamond in the rough…
has no appreciation for the simple things… and nothing will ever be good enough,
because the view from the next hill will always be the one where they will enjoy the wealth they’ve gained…”that will be enough!”,
yet their thirst to be satisfied with what they have will never be settled in spite of all their acquired stuff.
I see my misfortune as a blessing now… lord knows there is enough
people like me as far as I can see….the ones that are not good enough
because in the end… it ends the same for all and then only then can it truly be realized …what was has always been fluff.
In the end the truth is shown that in reality …being here has always been enough
In the end the truth that is told is: Perception is the only judge of who is not …GOOD ENOUGH.

This is wonderful, Stuart! Everyone is who and what he is. We’re made in God’s image – therefore definitely good enough – and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Good enough? More than I’d say, a great way of getting the point across and very, very good enough!! 😀 … xPenx
Thank you for the complement.=) Yes you may post my articile. I will look forward to looking through some of yur other posts as well.
Hi there, Stuart!
You bring up numerous good points. I, myself, have dwelt upon
passages such as yours in the past. If we are to be accepted as we are,
and as we came to be on this earth (sinners all), then we must accept
that being a sinner (imperfect and off target) is alright. Of course,
as I see it, only sinners can be saved. All the rest are hypocrites.
Just as we come; “Just as I am…” as the old gospel song goes.
I am enough. I am good enough, and well worth saving, as are we all.
Being saved doesn’t necessarily make us ‘more than enough’. Does it?
“The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” What?
When we try to do more than enough? Why try? Let go and let God.
(I think it’s really hard to know when we’re doing that. For my part…)
Take care, Stuart! Let’s skip over –
“Be ye perfect, as our Father in Heaven is perfect.”
I say, Be ye enough, and allow the Lord thy God to be more than enough.
Jesus, too, was more than enough. Woe unto he/she who tries to out better Him.
Peace, bro~ UT
It is something that I have seen since I was very little, people can be very cruel. In this day and time human resource departments pick people apart and tell them they can’t do things because the don’t have the experience they look for. People are told that they must act a certain way just to be given acceptance by others and it is not right. No one should have to be tempted to lie just to survive in this world yet people have biases that tell us that we are not good enough to do or be anything. Financial institutions try stick it to people just to get higher rates on loans to them. These things and more than I could explain here are reasons for others to say “not good enough” but you said the only one that says we are Good Enough and that is the only one that matters. May those that believe otherwise discuss the matter with God personally. As for me I am going to tend to ignore the foolish people believing that if they don’t want me…I don’t need them. Take care Keith!
Well said, 2zpoint. bb
I believe no one has the right to tell anyone that they are not good enough. You are right, who is and who isn’t good enough is all based on perception. Everyone has different ambitions, different goals, and honestly it is having a good attitude and working hard which gets people what they want. I am often told to be more ambitious, work harder towards making more money so I can have a house and an expensive car, but what I want from life is very different from what people want me to want. Same holds good for everyone. As long as you can say you are good enough, it is all that matters. There are no limitations, and you decide what you want to be. As long as you are what you want, it doesn’t matter what others think. Very thought provoking post you’ve got here. Was good to read it and know that I’m not the only one who thinks this way.
love it.
