Like Lambs to Slaughter

By angle and con many have gained…
by fear, problem solving, and problem creation
even more have prospered.
Through spilling others blood and creating
laws… secret ones flourish.
No matter what is said or done…
the angles and cons remain
leading the innocent to their demise.
Still there are those who listen to all the hype and lies
Worry drives many to early graves…
and the irony is that the honest follow laws…
laws that secret ones make,
that tell us all what road to take.
leading all who will follow…like lambs to slaughter.

the innocent always seem to suffer, Stuart, the very ones that laws are supposedly written to protect.
Lambs to the slaughter just about describes it.. xPenx
Lady P it is a sad thing to see documentaries like “Under Our Skin”and “The One Percent”. but they simply confirm the suspicions I have always had. The reality is that everybody is trying to make a living and some people mean to keep their wealth at the price of your life and mine with absolutely no conscience about it what so ever. Harsh world…I just hope that some may read this and take heed to the warning it lends to.

its the leaders of this world who are forcing us to follow and its either do nothing or fight against a loosing battle so sad that theres little compassion any more the rich want to get richer by any means and those who just want to live a comfortable life are persecuted so lambs to slaughter is our sad future xxjen
True Jenny! the premise that I wrote this on it the exploration of how we are exploited by those that would use our emotions against us. Still if we do nothing or pick the lesser of two evils we loose and they win. The only way to win seems to be taking a stand, not backing down, and hanging on with all we have, but the harsh reality is big companies push individuals around because they know statistically we give up and go on with our lives and they win. Sad but it is a truth that I I wanted to point out. Thank you for your time and comment! Peace be with you.

I like the imagery the word angles draws up, even though it is being used in ina different sense… really adds something quite nice.
