Perfection

Perfection

Perfection to some is the perfect day,

yet to others it is finding the perfect way.

Some say it is having things at the perfect time,

or it is best seen from being at the front of the line.

Most like to tell of those that play on a different level

or draw things so that others emotions can revel.

But perfection is what the best strive for and falling short makes us strive for more.

The one thing that perfection does is that it gives every one something to shoot for.

And those who would fall short are always in the best of company, for we all do,

because the best of us all are humbled too.

Trying is the only way to tell

and there is no limit on how many times to fail.

Perfection will come at the end of the day when you view yourself and say:

I did my best and gave it my all… and today,

I could not ask for more.

    love your perfection poem,
you have made a strong point, perfection is individual and refers to different things upon different occasions….

    perfect flow,
    beautifully put.

Simply put…the world has enough negative or useless stuff in it.I try to keep everything in my blog and my world useful, entertaining, or positive. If I stray from this I try to remind myself of my first statement to keep myself in check. Thank you again and I will be comment on you list in the coming days but I like to think about what I read and reply uniquely to each…It takes time and I’m pressed for it for it at times.

Perfection is a goal that I strive for but can never reach. I just try to give it my best. Thanks for your poem. I really enjoyed it.

The message is just this…If you try to give your best then you have achieved perfection because no one can ever ask more from you than that. Just a simple reminder that sometimes we try too hard and fail for doing so. Best wishes for you and yours

Quite a while since I been over here. I liked that – perfection is always just over that horizon, isn’t it? I enjoyed your thoughts on it!
