I have driven Semi trucks, packed up an moved to Hawaii, worked as a bouncer in a gentleman’s club, been a model, worked as a dance instructor, given motivational speeches, been a poster child for a national inspirational news letter, built firearms as a hobby, trained in Krav Maga, been a cable installer, bought and sold used cars, been a bartender, worked as a machine operator, was paid $4.50 as a writer for an article(lol!), broke and trained race horses, served as a companion aide, built a motor, replaced transmissions on several cars, have ridden more than 100.000 miles on motorcycles, walked on the sands of beaches on the Pacific and Atlantic, seen killer whales swim, played football for 10 years, boxed, played soccer, played baseball,  and I am now pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 52 hours done. Does this sound like a roller coaster ride?LOL! Welcome to my world!

Crazy is as crazy does…but roots don’t grow unless you stay in one place long enough to let them!

Dear friend, surfing through your blog is quite interesting.
There are many interesting sentences to ponder, Fools face lion, roots don’t grow unless you stay….. makes an interesting read.
        You are a good writer.
Keep it up, have a nice day.

wow. you’re awesome talk about pursuing anything in reach! lol

    • September 25, 2010 3:58 pm

You Can pursue anything but this is what is takes… A willingness to do what is necessary even when others say no. A never quit stubbornness even when it looks impossible. And a commitment of time even when other things in your world demand it. That’s why people say hold on to your dreams ….and this is how you do it.

Z2point. Hi. Ahaha you have nice and funny blog I liked it and initially i want thank you to comment on my blog ! You worked hard and seems you have a lot of experiences. How would you carry on roller coast life after you will finish your study ?? More continue this life or more stable life? 😉 Wish your life is happy and good life

    • September 27, 2010 1:12 am

I will live my life like a dream that no one will believe after its over…that is what I am planning to do. Stability is only a misconception in a world that changes daily but I do believe in finding shelter when it rains. so, I prepare for the storms in life by educating myself in many ways.
May you have an abundance of happiness in your life… and also the courage to chase your dreams as well Aisha 🙂

  4. September 27, 2010 2:07 pm

Wow, that’s alot. I want to move to Hawaii.

    • September 27, 2010 7:11 pm

Good!…then you’ll learn the various other meanings of Aloha!(just kidding …but no seriously)…It is a beautiful place to visit but living there? I nearly starved. I realized that home is where your comfortable and the lifestyle change was extreme. Someone with a professional skill set could probably make the adjustment fairly well though. The wildest thing I remember from there was the human spider guy that was climbing up one side of my building and then down the other from the corners at 6:00 am! I just knew he was gonna fall but he never did…Couldn’t figure out why he was doing it unless he was some kind of burglar but to each their own.

  5. October 1, 2010 11:55 pm

Gosh…you should have listed the things you haven’t done 😉

    • October 2, 2010 12:16 am

I did it this way out of humor by illustration because we all have lived differently. Some of the ways I have lived… some may call reckless …while others know that these were only ways of chasing dreams. When I die I want to rest peacefully knowing that I turned this world upside down and lived it to its fullest!

  6. October 2, 2010 2:51 am

So sorry your life has been so boring. LOL

  7. October 6, 2010 8:21 am

I am honored Emmanuel! …If I can figure out how to add a blog roll I’ll add you as well. Thank you.

      • October 13, 2010 6:14 am

Suggestion: Appearance, Widgets… experiment – easy to remove if you make a hash of it!

        • October 13, 2010 11:15 am

have been trying to figure it out but I haven’t found anything I like yet.

      • October 15, 2010 3:23 am

‘Add Pages’ – they will go under ‘About’, then name them, ie My Blogroll, etc. When you have that set up then I will copy how to put the entries in and you can use it for the first one, adjusting it to your post details. After that I just copy and paste and adjust after each new post. Good luck!

        • October 15, 2010 11:51 am

Thank you …would definitely not have figured that trick out on my own!

    • October 14, 2010 7:35 am

You finally figured out a way to go about the blogroll thingy…lol…thanks for adding me to yours…cheers! 🙂

      • October 14, 2010 8:39 pm

Yeah…it took some time but it was well worth it…I appreciate the idea!

  10. October 13, 2010 6:12 am

Hi 2zpoint! Thanks for visiting my blog… I was curious and found you have really led and very interesting and varied life, lol! Hope things work out for you with your studies because it sounds like it should be a ‘piece of cake’ and it is good to have some qualification on a piece of paper for the future (and you will earn more for the same work). Good luck.

    • October 13, 2010 11:23 am

It has been fairly easy and fun until outside events because the school to seems more like a problem than a solution. I will keep going though. Sadly… all that this school will give me is a piece of paper…in the real world, I have noticed many discrepancies between what is taught and what is actually done. The sad thing is that no one listens to you without that piece of paper.

      • October 14, 2010 3:39 am

That is SO true! They don’t usually practise what they preach… I’ll tell you something that I have found to be true, in South Africa anyway and I think in most countries, once you have held down a couple of jobs for a reasonable length of time (I’m talking a minimum of a year each – preferably 1½ years) no one bothers about the ‘piece of paper’ any more because you have proved you can do the job! It goes without saying that you need testimonials…

        • October 14, 2010 4:37 am

I have found that in most places that I have worked… I usually end up doing the upper level position work once they realize who they are dealing with. Then they get a person that can do things that most people can’t for a fraction of the cost of a scholar. I try to talk to the people in charge and they usually try to play the same game…they try to avoid paying fair wages for honest work. I will change that game in two more years.
The saddest thing is that all I ever wanted to do was support my family but every new place assumes that they are dealing with an idiot because I don’t have a piece of paper. I have been put into places that have environmental health issues, repetitive motion issues, and extreme environment issues. I have been placed in situations where I have been paid 11.00 an hour while leading six people around telling them how to put frames together because I could read the prints and they could not while they made 19.00 per hour (union job for you). I have worked in a lot of places and done more things than most people ever will and I just want to be paid for what I am, so that is why I am perusing this piece of paper. I don’t want to be treated like I’m a cheap commodity any more. I just hope that some kid might read this and think hey! school might be important, but then again I could be just dreaming.

I’m glad I stopped by and read this hidden gem of your site. Write your memoires now…. I want to read them! ^_^

  12. November 30, 2010 2:10 pm

Just thought I’d drop in and read your About page. All I can say is WOW! That is a lot of things you’ve done. Most people don’t do half of that in a whole lifetime! Brilliant!

    • November 30, 2010 5:13 pm

May these things inspire you to do the things you want to because I can tell you now…They are possible! Like Nike says” Just do it!”

And I thought I have had a Roller Coaster of a life. lol Actually not too far off. Life is what we make of it. In order to achieve who we really are, we change many times like the wind. Many don’t understand, but life is meant to be enjoyed and lived to the fullest. I knowing when you wake up in the morning that it’s a beautiful day and you are doing what you were meant to do and that your job is also like play. Something you can spend the rest of your life doing, without any regrets! ~ Renee

As I have lived I have done…learning only to live more by doing want needs to be done without the words I can’t. I hope to inspire others by some of these stories…particularly my own children. Thank you for the visit!
