When time seems stale.

When competition is fierce.

When words do pierce.

When there will be no peace.

When worry does not cease.

When talk does not appease.

When tension does not ease.

When It is no longer the time to please.

Take it to the next level.

One step at a time as it will come
When all is here as it will be done
But be patient and it will show you the way
It is within you always as it has stayed
See it through with your own eyes
And this will always give you open skies

enjoy 2zpoint…as I see you are in OK..I came from Ardmore, OK back in the early 1950’s as I was born there in 1954 as my dad was in the USAF as a welder on C-119 Boxcar planes…he came back to Upstate NY ion 1958 with mom and me..we use to live on 153 D Street in Ardmore(+)

I worked out of an Ardmore trucking company from 2006-2008. There is a lot of good people there…I never had to pay for a meal when I had a lay over there. Sure is cold in the winter though!LOL! Some of those Arbuckle mountains are as treacherous as they are beautiful not very tall…but loaded with rattle snakes! West of Ardmore on Hwy 70 about 50 miles looks like the rockiest places I have ever seen… bad lands that have untold fossils of a long forgotten time. I driven through that area many times and I am always amazed by it.
I am proud to get to know you Dom* …I love to read about people who are leading their lives as free as the wind. It is an amazing thing to see people who have that fire and it is refreshing to know that others believe in living life to the fullest!
I’m actually giving a motivational speech to the Workforce Oklahoma Investment Board at the capital building on November 18th on the behave of the state’s unemployed. I am going there to encourage the investors to donate to the career certification fund that they have set up. I am told that the money for the program has dwindled down an I am going to show them what kind of success a little investment can make in the lives of other Oklahomans. I am completly beside myself with excitement and the passion for this cause. You see even though you are climbing mountains physically…I too am climbing other types of mountains! Cheers to you Dom*! (I wish I could climb to the skies with you I know and love the freedom!)

      • November 8, 2010 4:32 pm

None…but when I was on Mt. Greylock I seen, as it seemed to me, a wolverine cross the road going down the mountain…at Peterburg Pass a few weeks ago across the road from the snowhole was the smell of bear urine all around as I believe they are getting ready to hibernate soon, don’t ask me how I know as I do, LOLOL…going to the Hadley Fire Tower in Hadley N.Y. either tomorrow or Wednesday as today here it is snowing and icy…but it is going to be in the 50’s tomorrow…I cannot wait to hit this one..especially the fire tower….enjoy Soul Bro Stuart and Happy Monday to ya a swell(+)

LOL!( they shouldn’t bother you too much though) I sent you a link… I believe that it is a cave though it may be a pond due to the green around it. I have seen some places out there That I was trying to remember where they are… you would be bowled over due to the rock formations…I’ll keep looking.

Yes! I’d like one of those michelin-man type dolls that you can kick and punch and it comes right back at you :-)-

HAHAHAHAAA!…too funny! Just go get a a stun gun like Garth on Wayne’s World …send those who are rude forty or fifty feet and twirl it blow off the smoke and stick it back in the holster! That’s taking it to the next level!

    When my hair turned gray,
    my mean streak turned yellow.

Go ahead, please yourself. Beat me to a pulp!
I’ll probably end up saying “Uncle!” 🙂

    • November 6, 2010 1:52 pm

Ha! your probably are not as old as me! but if you notice its the last resort on the list. The problem is that most people consent when they have gone through all of these things and get to the end. I think of these things as cocking a spring that will come back on the one whose causing the problem. If its not resolved that spring needs to be released. Take care old codger
      signed the ornery old man.

  10. November 6, 2010 2:03 pm

Agreed! Although these days my next level tends to be heading off to yoga to meditate and forget the bastards. 🙂

Sometimes passive aggression and waiting for the perfect moment are the best tools to use in a situation like that. Sounds like there are other things before the last result though! May the Downward dog be with you… (cause I don’t want that torture anywhere near me!) 🙂
