The Chill Still Grows
June 26, 2012
A dark time has fallen upon us love
Where once we laughed and thought as one
where all of time was in our moments and none mattered but ours
Love was all we knew
But I broke you
I don’t know how but now the load is mine
As I draw near out of love everything I do is simply “fine”
and quickly an excuse is made as to why I should not.
I can’t breathe well as I see our lives rot
in the hell that I have somehow brought.
Depression is a tricky thing
I guess when is rains it cannot be a good thing
even if the flowers do grow
no matter…
It still darkens your soul…
and still
the chill does grow.

Damn good question, Stuart.
Even with good reason and divine logic (!) …
as if we must have melancholy men and women
amongst us, for God knows why. For the story to work?
This sounds close to home, but I won’t ask.
Hoping all is well with you and yours and your boy,
Peace, luvz, and hugz from a Husker barker, UT 🙂
Hi Keith!
Sometimes life is as such and no matter how we’d like to “fix” things…We are just along for the ride and it is up to the individual to change directions.
You’re right this is close to home but I’d would be willing to bet that others have gone through similar times. Just my way of letting other feel they are not alone and simultaneously releasing toxic pain.
Great to see you Take care!
Hugs.
It is funny how the simplist of thoughts and words bring smiles…HUGS back to you
Thank you
Peace be with you all your days.
